Also, we made the drawer boxes with 5/8-inch-thick solid hardwood, with a dovetail joint at each upright corner. So they’re strong and durable. Also, the wood at the top of each drawer is rounded off. So its gentle on little hands and arms. What’s more, you can request Blum under-mount slides. They make closing a drawer as simple as giving it a gentle push.
