The Century Bookcase Collection brings the mid-century style into the 21st century. Giving your living area a nice retro look. The bookcases in the collection are 48, 60 and 72 inches high. Also, you can choose a wood door for the 72-inch model. So you’re free to select the sizes that best meet your needs and desires.
What makes the Century Bookcase Collection superior to bookcases found in big box stores and franchise furniture stores? Construction. Because this collection is hand-crafted by Amish cabinetmakers. Also, our artisans use quality regional hardwoods and other quality materials.
The units shown are brown maple with FC-N3030 Kona stain and #54 hardware. Also, we build the sides, top and bottom with 3/4-inch-thick hardwood. And the pieces are artfully joined at each corner with mitred (45-inch) joints. Also, we cover the back with 5/8–inch-thick veneer plywood. What’s more, one shelf in each bookcase is fixed, for extra stability. While the others are adjustable – giving you flexibility to arrange your books by height.
You may order the Century Bookcase Collection – or a specific bookcase in the collection — as shown or unfinished. Or, we’ll build yours to your specs. Just tell us your preferences. Such as the wood specie, finish and hardware.
Typically, your order should be ready in five to nine weeks. At that time, you may pick up your new furniture at our ‘brick and mortar’ store in Shipshewana, Indiana. Or, we can ship it to any address in the continental United States.
