The unit shown is quarter-sawn white oak. More expensive than plain-sawn lumber, quarter-sawn wood is less prone to cupping, expansion and contraction. It also brings out more dramatic woodgrain. Finish options are available. You can also select the Small CD Tower, which holds 56 CDs.
