Carlisle Child’s Chest

J1607R-BBW-21555

The Carlisle Child’s Chest blends child-friendly space and features with grown-up quality and performance. Notice its conservatively avant-garde look. Plus its splayed legs and arched skirt. You’ll be delighted to equip your child’s room with this rugged, yet beautiful chest.

The four drawers provide lots storage space. Plus, the drawers open full extension. So both big and small hands can have easy access to every corner of each drawer. No more yanking clothes out in order to see what’s at the back of the drawers. As is the case with drawers that open partway.

Also, we made the drawer boxes with 5/8-inch-thick solid hardwood. With a dovetail joint at each upright corner. So they’re strong and durable. Also, the wood at the top of each drawer is rounded off. So it’s gentle on little hands and arms. What’s more, you can request Blum under-mount slides. They make closing a drawer as simple as giving it a gentle push.

Amish artisans custom-built each Carlisle Child’s Chest. And they use solid hardwoods throughout. Like maple, elm, hickory and oak. No wonder the chest is so tough! You can order the chest as shown or unfinished. And we can customize it to your specs.
